I went through this kinda quick but I think this is amazing technology available to the home machinist or anyone else. I like to already have the object oriented in the CAD drawing but it can be rotated here if need be. Now click on "Edit DXF" then select "scale, move, rotate selected". To enlarge click "View" then "Zoom Selected" The drawing line turns from red to blue when selected. Next click on "Select" then "select single" and click again on a line of the drawing. Next open up DeskCNC and under"file", click on "open DXF file". The lines have all been digitally defined and are all that is required for the conversion. It is best to leave off dimensions, origins, notes from the drawing.
